Nancy, Gord and Suzanne Bell became owners of the Beauview Cottage Resort on June 4, 1993. They purchased the resort from Roy and Terry Parent who retired after 11 years of service.

Gord’s family and Nancy’s family have been cottagers for generations. Gord grew up at a family cottage at Wasaga Beach while Nancy spent summers in Muskoka not far from Beauview at a cottage on Echo lake. The Muskoka region is home for Gord as he spent 5 years working for the Siberry Family at Bangor Lodge, Bracebridge from Dishwasher, Bellhop to Assistant Manager. For the ten years before we purchased Beauview, we owned a cottage on Kennisis Lake in the Haliburton area.

Before coming to Beauview, the Bells lived in Scarborough and worked in downtown Toronto. Nancy worked as a Quotations Analyst for the Manulife Insurance Group and Gord was the Manager of a Computer Applications Development team at the Workers’ Compensation Board.

Gord spends most of his time as Host at Beauview. He's also webmaster for the internet websites www.Cottage-Resort.com  , www.Golf-Ontario.com  and www.BobtheTourist.com .  Gord is multilingual - English and Computerese!

Suzanne is our daughter.  She attends Wilfred Laurier University in Waterloo enrolled in the Psychology and Music programmes
