The first thing you'll notice when you
arrive is the quiet. With just six cottages, there isn't a lot of people
around even when we are full. Some people say they can feel the stress
leaving as soon as they get out of their car. You can put your watch away and
turn off your cell phone if you like. Wake up to birdsong rather than an alarm
clock...maybe sleep in. The Spring and Fall brings mostly adult couples
while July and August is a family time at Beauview.

In the Summer, there never seems to be any line up for the canoes or kayaks to
take morning paddle to explore Lake of Bays. If you have never been in a
canoe or kayak before, we'll gladly teach you the fundamentals. There's
chairs at the waterfront and on the docks for everyone to use even if you have a
cottage in the second row. Early in the morning is a great time to see a loon
making his morning swim around the lake or the new batch of baby ducks come to
visit.
July and August: Your family will enjoy all sorts of water activities: Water trampoline, slide, kayaks, canoes, peddle boats, kids water skiing, tubing.
Experience the quiet, peacefulness. You may see loons, baby ducks, deer,
moose, and friendly chipmunks on our property or nearby.
Your children will spend hours with the Children's Water slide, playgrounds,
badminton, and basketball hoop. There is a Giant Snakes and
Ladders lawn game and a soccer practice net.
We have fishing rods and tackle for the children to borrow if they didn't bring
any and would like to try. Each night, you'll see children fishing for the
feisty Bass that hide under the docks.
You can cook a family meal in your cottage kitchen or grill out on the gas BBQ grill on the deck
